In recently booked a 7 night trip driving throughout the North Island, New Zealand. Luxury Escapes coordinated a spectacular individualised holiday for me, incorporating luxury boutique style accommodation and amazing activities catered to my needs. Nicole listened to my preferences and my personal story about following my mother’s footsteps 67 years ago. She ensured every experience was booked and organised so I had a safe and carefree trip. I can't thank Jess at New Zealand Luxury Escapes enough for her attentive, helpful, efficiency.  My original booking had to be cancelled because of a health emergency and Jess was outstanding in assisting me to re-organise and rearrange a complex package of activities, travel and bookings etc.  Just last week we were able to enjoy a wonderful and relaxing few days in and around beautiful Queenstown. I cannot thank Alex enough for all the work they put in to planning our honeymoon! It was so fantastic to hand the reigns over to someone so amazing to plan and organise every detail of our trip. Sadly, we have come to the last day of our luxury New Zealand vacation. This is the best travel agency I have ever used. Alex was super helpful and planned everything perfectly for us. We stayed at stunning hotels and lodges, had a great rental car, amazing meals. Every recommendation she made was spot on and excellent. From the very beginning, New Zealand Luxury Escapes was outstanding. As a busy working mother, it is hard to plan vacation while still juggling all of the other responsibilities. Taking a vacation should be a vacation, it should not be work added in order to take a vacation. New Zealand Luxury Escapes helped me organize, gave me suggestions about where to go, kept the timeline on track and basically made it so they did 90% of the work of planning and I only did 10% approving the plan. In addition, they reconfirmed everything for me a couple of days in advance so I didn’t have to worry during the ramp up for departure. Then while we were on the trip and we hit those normal trip snafus like diverted flights, etc…..they worked hard behind the scenes to find us another rental car from the airport we were diverted to. This went above and beyond, but I have to say it made this one of my most enjoyable and least stressful vacations ever because they handled everything that was hard. Most importantly, they were always responsive, very nice to deal with, and the itinerary that they set for us was very balanced, and the time was scheduled so well, we did not feel pressured or rushed at all. Anyone interested in premier, first class golf/ sight seeing tour of NZ should look no further than NZLE! We were a group of 8 and Francine worked with us to put together an itinerary from the North Island to the South Island. Golf stops included Te Arai north and south courses, Kinloch Golf Club, Cape Kidnappers, Millbrook Golf, Jacks Point and The Hills all the finest courses in NZ. Accommodations along the way were equally first class. Te Arai   Lodge, Kinloch Manor and Villas, Black Barn Poplar 7 and Rees Hotel/ Apartments in Queenstown. Sight seeing included driving tour of Auckland, Hobbiton, fly fishing and plane/ boat tour of Milford Sound which should not be missed. Best of all was a dedicated driver, with a wealth of local knowledge, to chauffeur us and golf bags/ luggage around. I give NZLE highest marks all around!

We emailed NZLE and made contact with Francine who planned an excellent itinerary taking into our needs and wants. Our first destination was Abel Tasman where we sailed inside the National Park on our own catamaran as well as hiring bikes and exploring Rabbit Island in glorious weather. We stayed at the very special Te Koi Lodge, where delectable dinners and paired wines were ate and drank every evening. We carried on what can only be the true "Great Ocean Road" to Hokkitka, stopping at St Arnaud, Cape Foulwind and Punnakaiki. The drive was stunning. We arrived at Rimu Lodge, another lovely place to stay. A trip to the Gorge and Dorothy Falls filled our day. Franz Josef was our next destination and we arrived with clouds and rain which cancelled our helicopter trip, which we rearranged multi times before doing it early 2 days later. The trip was the highlight our our entire journey. Simply breathtaking flying across glaciers, mountains and landing on the snow. We filled the days with kayaking and quad biking which were both great fun. We stayed at Te Waonui, which was slightly too big for our liking although still a pleasant stay. In Wanaka we stayed in a lakefront apartment which allowed us to eat in the local restaurants, and we'd really recommend Kika and Francesca. We had a lovely hike up on the island as well as cycling from Lake Hawea. Our best adventures occurred in Fiordland National Park, with about incredible heli-hike. This allowed us to see lots of the Sounds, stopping high above Milford Sound for incredible views and dramatic scenery. We then hiked up Mt Luxmore before a long downward stroll back to town. We also cruised overnight in Doubtful Sound and whilst more rustic in accommodation allowed us to experience the area undisturbed. Spectacular. Queenstown was up next, with accommodation provided at the luxurious Azur Lodge, stunning room, stunning views and delicious breakfasts. Here we did another jet boat ride along side some kayaking for the return through the National Park and an amazing wine tour with 3 wineries visited to sample the pinot noir and pinot gris the area is famous for. We next headed to Lake Pukaki were we stayed at Lakestone Lodge which has amazing views of Mount Cook. We were lucky enough to have clear blue skies and uninterrupted views. We headed into the National Park to see the glaciers and icebergs by boat. We also cycled around the Alps to Ocean cycle way before returning to our hottub and suite. The most surreal place we stayed was in a Pure Pod on the way to Akaroa. Being so secluded in our own pod was magical. We cooked a delicious BBQ lamb dinner and drank wine overlooking the bay without the sound of humanity around for miles. We had a drive!! to Akaroa and swam with the dolphins. Whilst we both got in the sea and weren't too cold the nest sightings were from the boat. We had a delicious early dinner at Ma Maison. Our brief stay in Auckland, prior to flying home was at the Park Hyatt. We mooched about the city, ate great food at Hello Beast and The Grove to cap off an amazing trip to the Land of the Long White Cloud - luckily most of the time it was just blue skies. It was an amazing trip, and we can't wait to return to explore the North Island. I highly recommend NZLE for any trip you may wish to have of New Zealand. Thank you.
