    Day 1 Arrive Auckland

    Your exclusive New Zealand experience begins in Auckland, the gateway to the North Island. Pick up your rental car, get a glimpse of the city and make your way to your centrally located accommodation.

    Retreat to your luxury hotel. Park Hyatt Auckland is perfectly located on the water’s edge and offers expansive views across Wynyard Quarter’s Lighter Basin and out to the Waitematā Harbour.     Day 2 Poronui Lodge

    Poronui is the ultimate luxury sporting retreat, a place where you can have fun and relax in the authentic New Zealand countryside. Located in the beautiful Taharua Valley on New Zealand’s spectacular North Island, the estate boasts some of the world’s best wilderness experiences.     The main lodge and seven individually appointed guest cabins have evolved from what was once a rustic fishing camp into one of the world’s finest sporting lodges. Poronui Lodge is the spiritual centre of Poronui.     Day 3,4 & 5 Poronui Trophy Hunting

    As a New Zealand outfitter, Poronui Hunting offers superb trophy Red Stag hunting, along with Fallow, Rusa, Sambar, Chamois, Tahr and their speciality – Sika. You can also hunt wild boar, Arapawa Ram and Feral Goat.

    Day 6 Wanaka, Glen Dene Station

    Flight transfer Taupo to Queenstown – 5 hours (two flights)

    Today your journey takes you to New Zealand’s South Island. Wanaka is like no other and is New Zealand’s premier alpine destination. Here you will find stunning glacial lakes, incredible mountain vistas, world class hunting and all manner of outdoor pursuits.

    Amidst the Southern Alps of New Zealand, Glen Dene Hunting and Fishing is set in one of the most stunning hunting environments you will find anywhere. Be immersed in unique landscapes and way of life. Experience an authentic hunting adventure with an authentic New Zealand family.

    A range of hunting experiences from private land to wilderness hunts in the backcountry are offered. Fish salmon and trout in the surrounding lakes and tributaries. Gather together in the evenings for wholesome, fresh meals either at Cross Hill Lodge or down at our private beach around the campfire which overlooks Lake Hawea and the stunning Grandview mountain range. The station has been in the custodianship of the Burdon family for over three generations and today plays host to hunters, families, TV crews and premium brands from across the globe.

    Glen Dene is a truly remarkable place. Nearly 15,000 acres of freehold land, including more than 12 miles of lakefront aspect to both Lakes Hawea and Wanaka. Glen Dene offers premium lodgings and backcountry hut experiences. The Burdon family are passionate about their land and animals taking a combined conservation and recreational approach to hunting.

    Day 7,8,9,10 & 11 Glen Dene Trophy Hunting

    Immerse yourself into the New Zealand High country with Glen Dene. Experiencing the vastness of its terrain and the animals which inhabit the property, you will be overtaken by the premium hunting opportunities on offer. Whether it is a Red Stag, Fallow Deer, Chamois, Tahr, Ram, or goat that trips your trigger Glen Dene has utilities to assist you in your hunt. There is 4WD access if needed and heli hunts if requested. Glen Dene embodies the idea of fair chase hunting and will accommodate anyone’s wants and desires.

    Day 12 Queenstown

    Driving time Wanaka to Queenstown – 1.5 hours

    Today your journey takes you to Queenstown, the ultimate luxury destination on New Zealand’s South Island. From world-class luxury lodges to indulgent spa experiences, superb cuisine and exclusive tours, Queenstown is the ideal New Zealand elopement destination.

    Your stay in Queenstown will be at Azur Lodge, a distinctively contemporary luxury lodge with nine private villas located on a hilltop overlooking some of the most spectacular scenery in New Zealand. The best of both worlds – the feeling of privacy and remoteness and yet in five minutes be part of the local dynamic scene in downtown Queenstown.

    Stay 3 nights in Queenstown.

    Day 13 Queenstown & Milford Sound Experience

    Milford Sound is an area of extraordinary beauty. It offers a majestic fiord, dramatic and awe inspiring scenery and prolific flora and fauna.

    Each tour begins with a complimentary pick-up from your central Queenstown accommodation. After check-in completion, your pilot will give a thorough pre-flight briefing on the route and scenic highlights likely to be encountered. These include the famous Skippers Canyon, the Paradise region (recently made popular as film locations for Lord of the Rings/Hobbit Trilogies), and the Donne glacier among many other awe-inspiring features. Your 35 minute flight concludes with an over flight of the fiord of Milford Sound, prior to landing.

    The second half of the adventure begins in Milford Sound, where your pilot personally escorts you to the boat docks to board the “Spirit of Milford” to enjoy your Milford Sound Nature Cruise. Numbers aboard are capped at 150 passengers and on this intimate experience, Nature Guides offer a personal commentary. The “Spirit of Milford” catamaran explores nooks and crannies along the edge of the fiord, nudging into sheer rock faces to examine flora and fauna in detail.

    Following your Milford Sound cruise, your return flight takes in many of the pristine alpine lakes and waterfalls that Fiordland National Park is recognised for, including the Sutherland Falls which span 580 m (1900 ft). Flight time is another 35 minutes, with a total trip time of approximately 4.5 hours. After enjoying your Scenic Flight back from Milford Sound landing back in Queenstown you will be returned to your accommodation to complete the journey.

    This afternoon, enjoy a Twilight Wine & Craft Beer Tour.

    Visit three unique locations, enioying tastings of some of the finest drops across Queenstown and Gibbston on this fun and entertaining late afternoon adventure.

    Prefer a Pale Ale over a Pinot Noir? This tour allows you to bounce from vines to hops choosing between local wines or locally brewed craft beers at each location.

    Day 14 Queenstown & TSS Earnslaw + Walter Peak High Country BBQ Dinner

    Discover Queenstown today, there are many options available including Central Otago Wine Tours or discovering nearby towns such as Glenorchy and Arrowtown. If you are an adventurous soul, you may like to add on skydiving, bungy jumping, jet boating, rafting, heli-biking or a 4WD backcountry experience.

    This afternoon relax and enjoy an evening aboard the last remaining commercial passenger-carrying coal-fired steamship in the southern hemisphere. Steeped in Queenstown’s pioneering history, your experience starts with a Lake Wakatipu cruise in the 105 year old steamship, the TSS Earnslaw. Then disembark at Walter Peak High Country Farm, one of the first farms set up in the region.

    Relaxing in the charming ambience of the Colonel’s Homestead Restaurant, the heart of the stately homestead at Walter Peak, you’ll enjoy gourmet dining prepared by the chef in front of you. You can choose from an expansive array of New Zealand and local produce, from succulent meats cooked on the outdoor rotisserie or grill, a selection of delicious vegetables and salads. Then finish your meal with irresistible desserts, New Zealand cheeses and freshly brewed tea & coffee.

    After dinner, an entertaining and informative demonstration gives you a glimpse of life in the high country.

    Day 15 Depart Queenstown

    As your unforgettable holiday draws to a close, soak in the views one last time before departing Queenstown at your leisure.
